Stem Challenge Magazine

A global publication that highlights the importance of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Throughout school systems across the world educators are facing some of the same challenges regarding implementation of STEM programs. Our goal is to spotlight effective programs and provide resources to school administrators, teachers, parents and students to improve learning opportunities for everyone.

The Magazine

For every challenge there must be a solution and our magazine will provide an outlet for both. We’ve identified the growing need for effective and engaging STEM curriculum within our school systems. As school administrators work to make this a reality, we will be a conduit that connects educators, parents and students to viable options that will help them develop STEM proficiency.

The Challenges

STEM education nurtures the creativity of our youth readers, teaches problem solving, encourages experimentation, promotes usage of technology and strengthens knowledge application. We will celebrate the inventiveness and brilliance of students across the globe. To be featured in the Student Challenge, write about your experience with science, technology, engineering and/or mathematics. Let us know if there is a particular product or course curriculum that has inspired a new invention, new career path or new found love for STEM.

The Solutions

Our parent company EGB4 Technologies offers curriculum series that range from robotics, programming, engineering, physics and various STEM related topics. The courses include kits that provide a hands-on and relevant learning experience for students. We will also spotlight our partnerships with companies like WhizBiz Kids and Inventive that provide curriculum and products that give students a foundation for success in college and careers. STEM Professionals

STEM occupations out earn non-STEM fields by 12-30% across all education levels.[1] However, there are numerous positions that go unfilled each year due to a lack of qualified candidates. The statistics are especially disproportionate for minorities. We realize that students are inspired by success stories, particularly those from individuals that look like them or come from similar backgrounds. By featuring professionals across various STEM related industries that attest their success to the skills they learned from attending a STEM program, our young readers will be inspired to pursue their dreams.

STEM Change Makers

A change maker utilizes their resources and influencing power to improve the world around them. The decision makers in the STEM world have the ability to not just provide opportunities to the youth in the community but also have an impact on how our world evolves. The future is STEM and we will be sharing stories of triumph and success inspired by the change makers that are making sure that STEM curriculum is available to all.

STEM Tournaments

Competition leads to innovation, which is why academic competitions are vital to the development of students  focusing on STEM related fields of study. From science fairs to robotics competitions, youth compete and challenge themselves to maximize their creativity. Our parent company EGB4 Technologies has been the leader in robotics competitions for years, bringing tournaments to cities all over the world. Our goal is to increase participation in academic competitions and keep our readers informed of upcoming events.
